Bonsela is banking with the South African First National Bank (FNB), who has the sole rights in SA to use all the facilities that PayPal international is offering. If you wish to pay via bank deposit, or have alternative methods of payment, please contact us. Otherwise contact the FNB bank directly should you have any questions with regards to their Paypal service: www.fnb.co.za/paypal.

PAYMENT – Purchase can me made using a credit card, as Paypal Guest User or through a PayPal or PayFast account. Once you click on Make Purchase you will be lead to a separate PayPal or PayFast window that will give you two payment options to choose from.

PRICING – Our prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). You can view the real time exchange rate for your local currency with the currency converter from Oanda www.oanda.com. Tax/Vat is not included in the prices. Any customs duties and taxes depend on the country you live in – for more information, please contact the responsible authorities.

SECURITY – PayPal and Paypast will save your details, once you register for the first time – therefore its advisable to keep the registration details safe for future transactions! The system automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Please be assured that your credit card details are safe and secure through PayPal and Payfast. Please also be aware that we do not handle the credit card payments through our store. Credit Card payments are all processed through the payment gateway services and your card numbers are not revealed to us.

 Any information supplied to Bonsela will be strictly handled as confidential and will only be used to process your order. Your information will not be passed on to a third party unless required by law. We may send you an occasional email alerting you of specials or new products and designers – we certainly will not abuse this condition. Should you not wish to be on this list we will gladly remove your details as soon as you unsubscribe.


DELIVERY – Bonsela is based in Cape Town, South Africa which means your parcel is coming from the tip of Africa and might take a few days longer then you’re used to. Once payment has been received and cleared we arrange the shipping of your parcel. It normally takes between 7 to 14 working days 
from day of dispatch of your purchase to get to any destination out of South Africa. You will receive a tracking number and shipping details, so you can find out where your parcel is at any time. Should you wish a shorter shipping/delivery time please email us and we will quote you on a fast courier shipping.

DELIVERY EXPENSES – Please note that any local duties or taxes are payable by the customer, and will not be the responsibility of Bonsela. However we are sending the parcels in a way that any further payments should be avoided – but it really depends on the person and place handling your parcel in the county/city.

AVAILABILITY – If the item is not in stock, it means it’s in production. As all goods are handmade, some items take up to 15 days to be produced – some are not available at all. Please contact us should you wish to have more details.

RETURNS POLICY – Bonsela would like to ensure that your shopping experience is a happy one, so please feel free to contact us if there is anything you would like to discuss. We will happily exchange, credit or refund your purchase just follow the following steps:
– Email hello ( @ ) bonsela .co .za for a return authorization before sending the item back and explain the matter further.
– Your request must be within three days of receiving the goods. Provide us with the shipping details, tracking number etc.
– The product was purchased through our online store and has not been worn or damaged in any way, it is still in its original condition, with all its tags and packaging.
– The parcel needs to be sent via courier company (placed inside a new cardboard box) and has to be insured, as Bonsela cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
– Returns and delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer.
